Petal is one of my favorite light and fresh Zents scents!
My personal journey with Zents started six years ago when I picked up an organic body oil that smelled DIVINE- light in fragrance and yet luxurious on my body. I am extremely sensitive to smell with a preference to light, fresh smells, and of course this one was perfect, especially after an evening bath or morning shower. As you, my readers know, I only purchase organic products and these are special, for many reasons, trust me. According to this company, ZENTS scents are created for people who don’t normally enjoy aroma or who are sensitive to scent. A life-changing car accident had left the founder, Cord Coen, with a brain injury, along with physical and chronic pain, intense migraines and almost complete loss of smell. When doctors informed him that he had “plateaued” in his healing process, he packed his bags and flew to India. While there, he healed, physically, emotionally, spiritually. While most of their products are used and sold by trained professionals in the spa industry, the products can be purchased at a few retail locations and online. I find the pricing very reasonable given the quality of the products, the many helping hands in the creation of their quality products, their values and the story of their founder. You don’t find this many WINS with other companies out there.
Product offerings include body oil, lotion, soap, eau de toilettes, bath truffles, body washes and packaged sets. And back to their amazing scents- Mandarin, Fresh, Earth, Petal, Anjou, Oolong, Sun, Water and Fig. (Since I love clean smells, my two favs are Fresh and Petal. My most recent purchase was the Anjou which has a light, clean pear fragrance) Given their “mindfulness” they all offer a NonZented or no fragrance product for those of you with fragrance sensitivities.
Most of you know that I tend toward pure oils like almond and coconut because they’re not loaded with chemicals. I’ve been known to make many of my own body scrubs and use essential oils for fragrance and wellness. I recently tried one of their bath truffles and let me just say, I’ll be ordering MORE!! I toweled off feeling silky smooth with just the hint of Anjou pear fragrance. What a way to jump in bed for my nightly Zzzz’s!
However, since discovering Zents, they have become one of my top skincare “splurges.” This year I want to focus more on the theme of Self-Love and Self-Care. If you haven’t tried these divine products, I highly encourage you to treat yourself. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Use one alone or in combination with each another, too! Zents is a company that clearly sends a message of Self-Care as seen in their own work culture, with their eco-focused products and how they impact everyone in each stage of the creation of their products. Truly, what’s not to love?
